    Have read ever Grissom book, no way he wrote this, it's horrendous, stopped at 40 pages

    Mark n Todd n Zole pulled off my dream. I’ve always want to be a criminal, and especially put scammers in their place. Yes I guess that makes me one too, but they made amends to their illegal clients an we’re determined never to go to jail which they succeeded in. As far as Grissom, I think this is the best he’s done in awhile. Kept me intrigued all the way thru and for once didnt drop the ball on an ending Excellent

    There was a time with John Grisham was a writer with talent. He may still be, but he didn’t display any talent writing this book or more likely, someone else wrote it under his name. The book is awful. It’s sophomoric, inane and entirely bereft of any redeeming value. Back in the day, I could open a Grisham novel and not put it down, until I read it cover to cover. This book was tedious and I gave up about 3/4 way through. Just for the heck of it, I picked it up a few days later and read the remainder, on the odd chance a real plot would emerge. It didn’t.

    I am and will always be a John Grisham fan. Having said that I must say this book is not as good as his others. It took me longer to make my way through The Rooster Bar as compared to Gray Mountain or The Broker.
